SIFCO Industries is proud of its heritage as a leader in the aircraft industry. The original Cleveland plant was a source of parts for such pioneers as Glenn L. Martin, Leroy Grumman, Lawrence Bell and Glen Curtiss. Beginning with the first Cleveland
Air Races in 1929, almost every plane involved contained parts forged by SIFCO. The company participated in the production of the first turbosuperchargers for World War II aircraft, as well as the first jet engine.
Today, SIFCO Turbine Component Group has four facilities located strategically around the globe and are organizationally intergrated to provide world-class quality hot section blade and vane repairs for all the major turbine engine manufacturers - Pratt
& Whitney, General Electric, Rolls Royce, and CFMI.
